Every barn starts on Free and can move up in Settings in a couple of taps. Nothing you record is ever deleted when you change plans.
Rescues, sanctuaries and therapeutic riding centres: free
A registered nonprofit gets every Premier feature at no cost, for as long as you are a nonprofit. Texts are sold at cost in packs, the same as every plan.
To claim it, tell us about your organisation on the contact page. We check your registration and switch it on for your barn by hand, usually within a day or two.

Need more texts? Add a pack.
Plus and above include a monthly number of texts. If you need more, add a pack of 500 texts for $15 (about 3 cents each). Packs never expire and are used only after your monthly texts run out. Rescues and nonprofits can add packs too.
Texts are always the barn owner's choice: if you never turn them on, you never pay for them.
What you are not paying for
- No fee per person. Staff, managers and boarders are always free.
- No fee per horse. Add as many as you like on any plan, including Free.
- No charge to download all of your data. It is always yours.
- No contract. Change or cancel from Settings whenever you like.
Refer another barn and you both get $12 off. It is in Settings once you sign up.

Questions
Do horses or people cost extra?
No. There is no limit on horses and no charge for people. Owners, managers, staff and boarders sign in for free on every plan. You choose a plan by the features you want, never by the size of your barn.
What counts as a text?
One text message sent from Stable SideKick to one phone number is one text. Reminders by email and notifications on a phone never count, and texts people send back to you are free. Your count starts again on the first of each month.
What happens if I run out of texts?
Nothing breaks. Texts stop going out until the month changes or you add a pack, the app tells you so right away, and everything else keeps working. A pack of 500 texts is $15 and never expires.
Can a Free barn send texts or buy a pack?
No. Texting starts on Plus, which includes 100 texts a month. Packs top up a Plus, Pro or Premier plan and a nonprofit barn; they are not sold to a Free barn. Everything in Today, tasks, feed, the calendar and the printouts works on Free.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, whenever you like, up or down, from Settings. Going up unlocks features straight away. You can cancel from the same place.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted, ever. Features your new plan does not include stop taking new entries or sending anything, and some tabs are hidden or become read only until you upgrade again. Your records are still there, and you can download all of your data for free on any plan.
Do rescues, therapeutic riding centres and other nonprofits pay?
No. A registered nonprofit, rescue or therapeutic riding centre gets every Premier feature free. Texts are sold at cost in packs. Tell us about your barn on the contact page and we will switch it on by hand.
Is there a discount for paying for a year?
Yes. Pay yearly and you get two months free: ten months for twelve.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. The Free plan has everything for the daily care of your horses, with no card. You can also look around the sample barn without signing up.
Will the price go up on me?
Barns that join early keep their price. If prices change for new barns, we tell existing barns well in advance.
